K A H R A: Press/Reviews

Love it (Video of Kahra's LMNT Vision Launch performance)... because a vision often comes from a time when you were a child, when you were innocent and free from societal pressures. At Vision Launch, Kahra Keyes tapped into that childhood experience and incorporated it into the music she sings today. Beautiful job Kahra!

LOVESICK ARTISTS GETS HEARTBACK FROM WRITING NEW ALBUM
Everyone has different ways of dealing with disappointment in love; some let out their frustrations in unhealthy ways such as overeating, drinking, drugs, & gambling, some ignore their feelings & move on quickly to another affair, some never get over it, and some write about their experience. In singer, songwriter Kahra’s case she took to her pen and wrote the tracks to her latest and greatest album titled, “Lovesick”. “Through writing, I was able to explore my feelings about the experience and analyze the heart of these issues. Connecting those ideas with music and releasing the emotions in the recording studio really served as a form of healing and growth”, said Kahra. Her insane emotional release can be seen in the music video for the song, “HeartBack” where Kahra wears pink hair and a tutu while tosses boxes out of a second story window! www.youtube.com/kahramusic

Not only was Kahra able to let out her frustrations about being lovesick, but she also saw her mistakes and what could be done to prevent such hurt in the future. In the song “Put Up with It” she sings, “You’re not sorry for treating me that way, cause I put up with it”. Also in the song, “Stand in Love” Kahra states, “Cause when you stand in love, you see the truth and then you know”. Her album titled “Lovesick” is available though iTunes, www.kahramusic.com and CDBaby.com

Kahra Keyes performed at Sally O's and when she hit A1A, camera's came out and her fans wanted their pictures taken with our dear Singer/Composer. What an honor Rocky to have Kahra's story on page 58 & 59 of Talent Magazine Miami!
Thanks Nick and Toni for a great group of singer/songwriters and Artists. I loved Kahra's "lovesick nurse" outfit & her flaming red wig. She is so talented and funny. A cross between Lucille Ball, Cindi Lauper meets Kylie Minogue/Rhianna. Joe Justiz sounded great and his lyrics were right on! I hope we can have them perform at future outdoor festivals and events.
Kahra Keyes, a singer and artist, took part in the celebration of National Dance Day along with the Marlins Mermaids, the cast of Cirque Eloize iD, and hundreds of children from all over Miami at the Thomson Plaza for the Arts at the Adrienne Arsht Center on Saturday, July 30, 2011.
