Music Video for the song Beautiful Night from the album XOXO. This video features real footage from the Giza Plateau in Egypt of the Pyramids & Sphinx at the lazer light show at night. Other natural specialities are real lightning and the real moon. Other oddities feature Kahra balancing a sword on her head and sister bellydancers!
Sang a Solo in Church - September 18, 2010
Kahra sang a solo titled, "God Loves You" at Miami Springs Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Kahra also harmonized on four songs with her Praise Team which leads worship monthly. Special thanks to Pastor Glenn for the invitation and for choosing such a beautiful power ballad.
Area 23 Gallery Painting - September 17, 2010
Kahra was one of 4 artists painting live at Area 23 Gallery in Miami's Wynwood Design District for the monthly Electrik Circus Party. This month's party featured an independent film projected onto the gallery wall as well as the funky music of the Anti-Robot Society. Kahra painted another piece for her series "Attack of the Normal". This painting is titled, "Death" and is about the attack of death. The fire represents destruction and purification while the monsters are good monsters destroying death and thus ridding the need for RIP gravestones. Long live life!!
Last Day of Filming for "Beautiful Night" - September 12, 2010
The last day of filming for "Beautiful Night" was shot at the elegant Russian Tatiana's Restaurant & Cabaret Show in Hallendale Beach, FL. Kahra was joined by two professional belly dancer sisters Kelly & Evelyn. It was a fun shoot that included exotic gold & silver wings, balancing a sword on Kahra's head and hip, as well as a three tier synchronized dance and freestyle belly dancing. Special thanks to Analea and Jorge for being there every step of the way! All three girls wore beautiful red outfits with long black hair. Now the editing process begins!
Second Day Filming for music video "Beautiful Night" - September 5, 2010
This evening we again got lucky with the rain staying away just long enough to shoot footage for the video. In fact, we were filming just on the edge of the storm and even got lightning on film behind Kahra singing! All of Kahra's wardrobe in the video was purchased in Jordan and Israel. The theme of the video is enjoying Middle Eastern charm in a beautiful night.

Filming for the music video "Beautiful Night" Begins - August 23, 2010
Filming began today with Aaron Bristol of Bristol Photography at outdoor locations in Coconut Grove and Coral Gables, Florida. It stopped raining just in time to be a beautiful night! In fact, there was a full moon that peeked out of the clouds just long enough to be captured by film behind Kahra singing to the song! National Anthem in Pop & Operatic Voices - August 19, 2010
Kahra got the privilege of seeing President Obama speak on September 18th at the Fountainbleu Hotel in Miami Beach. Heavily inspired, here is a video of her singing a different version of the Star Spangled Banner, using two different voices in a young Pop style voice and then in an older sounding Operatic voice. God bless America!

Kahra modeled a test photoshoot with photographer Alan Bell in his studio. Outfits include a red Kimono and the other a black top. This is Kahra's first photoshoot with black hair!
Two Live Videos Released - August 14, 2010
Two live videos of Kahra first performance singing original songs with a guitar is released today onto YouTube. The short videos are put together by Thomas Griffith of Straightaway Films and feature three different camera angles. The first video is an acoustic version of her new song "Stand in Love". By the way, Kahra ended up finishing the verses of the song the very next day! The second video is of Kahra singing another new song, "Spilled Milk (Don't Cry Over)".
Performs at Mr. Laff's Rock Bar in Davie, FL - August 12, 2010
Kahra performed two of her new original songs "Lovesick" & "Spilled Milk (Don't Cry Over)" at Mr. Laff's Rock Bar in Davie, FL for the first time with her guitar and a band. The band really got into "Spilled Milk" and turned the 3 minute song into a 10 minute jam!! Thank you to Jennifer for being such a wonderful host.

A special thank you goes out to Randy Singer and all of the other "Girls with Guitars" performers for a wonderful evening and a full house at the Van Dyke. Kahra shared the stage with Diane Ward, Alicia, the Baron Sisters, Emelee!, Singer Yenisley, Jocelyn, & Sharin Toribio. Kahra performed a guitar acoustic version of two of her new songs; "Stand in Love" & "Spilled Milk (Don't Cry Over)". This was Kahra's first gig accompanying herself on the guitar!
Painting Live at Area 23 Gallery for the Electrik Circus - July 22, 2010
At Area 23 Gallery, located deep in Miami's Design District Kahra painted live alongside Kazilla & Trek 6 with musical performances by Rimidi Longley, Fudakochi, Brittany Star James, & Moonshyne Brown and the Antirobot Society. An amazing evening of art & music also with attendance by the Gallery's featured artists. Kahra is painting "Attack of the Normal--Suburbs" a series of paintings aimed at questioning the normality of accepted reality.
Writing & Recording New Album Begins - June 30, 2010
After a year off from writing new material regularly, Kahra emerges with a new writing style which focuses on hooks and lyrical visualization. The main focus is Pop/ Top 40 but Kahra plans to perform & record the songs in acoustic live jazz/swing versions as well. Stay tuned for listening in on this new concept of one song in multiple genres.
Middle East Exploration - June 12, 2010
Kahra travels with a large church group to explore the pyramids of Egypt, Petra in Jordan, and Biblical sites in Israel. She caught a lot of her travels on video and the footage will be included in many of her music videos in the future. Peace to the Middle East!
