Singer & Visual Artist at Tempo Live - July 7, 2011
July 7th was the Two Year Anniversary of the Monthly Event Rough Draft, and Kahra was invited to sing with the house band and join two other visual artists at Tempo Live on Harrison Street in Hollywood, FL. Kahra sang a rock version of the title track to her new album Lovesick and also painted the album logo with acrylic paint on canvas. Kahra completed another painting with charcoal under a new series called Abstract Location titled "2000 Harrison Street". Both of the final versions of the paintings can be found under the ART tab here on this website. X-Factor Round 4 - June 14, 2011
Kahra attends Fox's new show X-Factor with Simon & Paula as an audience member on June 14 and 15th after hearing back via e-mail just a few days before that she didn't make it to this round. This fact didn't stop her from having Simon hear her voice-- during commercial breaks they were giving audience members a chance to sing and Kahra got her chance! Afterwards, Kahra was interviewed by camera crews about the contestants who performed and signed a release form so the show can use the footage.
On day two, June 15th, Kahra came to the first show as a brunette and sat near stage left by audience cameras and LA Read. For the second show Kahra came in the outfit from HeartBack music video to get a crowd reaction-- and it was a successful one! The stadium spotlight came on Kahra during the commercial break, she got caught on film by her first paparazzi, and in general has never had so many people of different ages ask for a photograph with her. Lovesick CD Cover Design - May 29, 2011
Since Y2 Photography's Photoshoot in February, Kahra has been working to design the best cover album for Lovesick. After a vote for the best album cover photograph on Facebook resulted in people liking many different photos, the new album cover now includes 6 different nurse photos. The photograph liked the most on Facebook got on the CD as well as on the back of the cover. Thank you to all of those on Facebook who voted!

Shooting Music Video for HeartBack - April 24, 2011
Today Kahra shot the stars of her next music video, HeartBack. In the morning, she shot footage of Basketball Player Kelly Tanelus at a court in North Miami, then Flower Child Jessica Dolores in South Miami by a famous garden, and Cold & Alone star Martin Sinclair in the evening watching TV. Kahra has already shot scenes in an empty apartment's closet and a drug store's Valentine's Day isle.
X-Factor will be a new show on Fox starting in the Fall and will be the reunion of Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul as two of the judges! The show is for all ages and groups compete with solo artists. Kahra came to the Miami auditions and passed round 1 after waiting almost 10 hours at the BankUnited Center on April 7th. Yes, the stadium was that full!! Kahra returned on April 8th for round 2 and got another golden ticket to round 3! Kahra is currently waiting to hear back from the producers if she will make it to sing in front of Simon & Paula for round 4!
Love Song Music Video Release - April 1, 2011
Are you a fool for love? This April Fool's Day is the YouTube release of the music video Love Song, the seventh song on Kahra's unreleased album Lovesick. The video features views from the Top of Mount Sinai in Egypt which Kahra shot while climbing to the top in June 2010. Also included are shots of Kahra's silhouette dancing by the Sea of Galilee and of Kahra dancing in water in a white dress
Love Song Behind the Scenes Video - March 30, 2011
This video features behind the scenes footage of the music video Love Song. From before sunrise to sunrise to morning this video offers breathtaking views of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt from the Top of Mount Sinai. Also featured are clips from the shore of the Sea of Galilee during the day and at sunset. Finishing the video is when Kahra's bag broke as she threw it into the car after shooting the lyrical portion of the Love Song video. Similar to her shoe breaking at the end of shooting the video Luv U Rite, Kahra takes this as a good sign. Enjoy the journey!
Shooting Music Video Winter Wind - March 21, 2011
Kahra took a trip to the Colorado Rockies on a ski vacation to shoot the music video Winter Wind. To be featured are beautiful scenes from the tops of Copper Mountain and Winter Park. Kahra shot scenes singing the Winter Wind lyrics outside in the snow and also inside by a fireplace. Check out this video of expert skier Jayson Keys featuring a "sneak peak" listen of the dance track to Winter Wind.

"Lovesick" Album entering Mixing Phase - March 7, 2011

Shooting "Love Song" Music Video - February 5, 2011
Got up early at 5am for makeup and wardrobe to catch the perfect morning light with videographer Analia Ramirez. Today scenes were shot of Kahra singing the lyrics of "Love Song" on sand and in water. The video will also feature footage from the top of Mount Sinai in Egypt. Beach and Mountains, the best of both worlds. "Love Song" is the seventh song on Kahra's new album "Lovesick".
