Winter Wind (Winter Dance Remix) Music Video Release - January 9, 2012

Doing things backwards on this project, the video & remix for Winter Wind are released today before the release of the main version! This entire project has been backwards as Kahra had plane ticket, wardrobe and location set before the lyrics of the song were finished. Kahra completed the final lyrics on location. Months later, the original vocals were recorded and mixed at the same time of the video being edited. Kahra was able to record scratch vocals with the track to her phone for the shooting of the video. The final version of the song was finished the same day as the video editing! Whew!! This song is dedicated to winter sport enthusiasts as well as those who have never had this snow experience. Enjoy the winter trip!

Kahra sang on Christmas Day at Grace Lutheran Church in Chicago, IL-- the same church she was confirmed in and sang with the choir as an alto growing up. Kara started the service with a medley of popular Christmas songs: "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear", "Away in a Manger", "What Child Is This", & "O' Little Town of Bethlehem" on the back balcony of the church. Then Kara sang a jazzy version of "Go Tell It On the Mountain" in the front of the church during offering. And finally Kahra sang "Oh Hearken Ye" during communion. What a honor it was to sing at Grace on Christmas Day. Special thanks to Kirstie Felland & Pastor Munker.
